The Home & School Association (H&S) is a group whose aim is to link the school and its families. The meetings are a great way for parents to contribute to the school by sharing ideas, views and suggestions. It’s also an opportunity to find out in what’s happening around the school and a chance to socialise with other school parents.
We support the school community by:
During the year we host events which provide social opportunities for our school families and we also organise and coordinate fundraising activities that help make our school an even better learning environment for our kids. The fundraising focus over the last 18 months has ranged from exciting new top block playground equipment and fresh playground markings, to fixing the perimeter fence, to providing a new medical trolley for the sick bay. Together with the Whanau Group the focus for this year is on completing the new school waharoa (entrance way), which will provide our school with a meaningful and welcoming entrance area.
Many hands make light work – sign up to help!
Help is required to make sure the various social events and activities organised by H&S run smoothly and are successful. All parents are welcome and encouraged to be involved, from being on the committee, to helping with existing fundraising or the annual school fair, to providing ideas for future fundraising, or simply being on the mailing list as an occasional helper. Sign up using the form below!
Meetings are once a month (usually the 4th Tuesday of the month) at 7.30pm in the Learning Hub (by the library). All parents and whanau are welcome to come along. It’s a great way to keep up to date with what’s coming up at the school and to see what all our fundraising is going towards! Attendance at meetings doesn’t commit you to any responsibilities and we appreciate fresh ideas and feedback.

Thank you to all who have contributed, as without you, we couldn’t have achieved all that we have.
