Making the most of summer!

The weather this term has certainly played ball and allowed our tamariki to make the most of the great outdoors! Check out what we've been up to so far...

Mini Freedom Friday

Harakeke and Rimurimu have been enjoying their mini freedom fridays! Options have included photography, lego challenges, makey-makey, potion making, parachutes and task master!

Sustainability with Alice

Children propagated their own indoor plants, then weeded and composted and planted the school garden. A great time was had by all! Alice would love donations of plastic pottles - feel free to send them to school with your children!

Forest School

The children of Victory Park (Korimako and Tui) have been enjoying heading out on Friday mornings to Forest School. Here they practise collaboration, are encouraged to take risks and problem solve. One challenge included getting an entire team over an 'electric fence' without touching it!
