Pacific People's Fono

Fakafeiloaki, Talofa lava, Malo e lelei, Fakatalofa atu, Fakaalofa lahi atu, Ni sa bula, Kia Orana, Fakatalofa atu, Halo, and warm Pacific greetings!

For some time Island Bay School has been dedicated to establishing a Pacific Peoples group for all of our families who represent the many islands and cultures of our Pacific region. We are inviting you and your family to join us in coming together to get to know each other, build whanaungatanga, talanoa, share food, celebrate our children’s learning and talk about how we can continue to support your children at Island Bay School.

To begin, come along and join us at our first Pacific Peoples Fono on Monday, 31 May at 6pm. All whānau welcome.

We will meet in the staffroom, upstairs from the school office. Please connect with Deborah (deborahfenton@islandbay.school.nz) if you have any questions.
