Te Papa trip!

Updated: 7 days ago

Our junior school has had a wonderful time visiting Te Papa this week! The purpose was to activate the students understanding of the significance of 'forces' in nature. The Te Papa educators ran 'Active Earth' sessions focusing on what is going on under our feet (e.g. layers of the earth, tectonic plates, tsunamis, earthquakes). For most of our tamariki it was their first school trip. It was so great to finally be back out enjoying education outside of the classroom again.

Many thanks to the parents and caregivers who came along on the trip.
