Thank you assembly for our Artist in Residence, Margaret Tolland

We were lucky enough to have our Artist in Residence, Margaret Tolland, come back to school today to present us with the wonderful painting she has made for our school. It features images that represent all our learning spaces, Tapu te Ranga Island, and our waharoa or entrance archway. Everytime you look at the painting you see more detail, thank you so much Margaret for the time and care you have given us!

It was a special assembly led by our Patangatanga children (New Entrant class) and for some of these children, it was also their first time going to an assembly. Well done to all of you! They were wearing their very special printed tshirts that they made with Margaret's help, featuring their own drawings of native birds and lizards.

The assembly also featured a special performance by our Jump Jam squad. Well done!
